Djavad Mowafaghian Child Care Centre

The Djavad Mowafaghian Child Care Centre, designed by DYS Architecture, is a fully licensed daycare facility constructed at BC Children’s and Women’s Hospital. The Child Care Centre provides space for 49 children, with indoor and outdoor play, quiet areas, offices, kitchen, and a staff lounge. The single storey daycare is LEED Gold Certified and offers over 10,000 SF of outdoor space. Unique features include operable windows for natural ventilation and FSC Certified sustainable wood products.
