BC Place

In 2011, Bosa Construction’s Formwork team proudly contributed to the redevelopment of our beloved BC Place. A true landmark to downtown Vancouver, the stadium project involved the erection of twenty-six 130-ton masts and compression beams for the largest cable-net retractable roof in the world. The addition of the fabric roof cuts millions of dollars in energy costs annually and reduces greenhouse gas emissions. Featuring a 36-foot façade, over 1,250 digital screens, and a 54,500-seat capacity, the renovations at BC Place make it a truly desirable and energy efficient event space that lights up Vancouver’s skyline.
